The Marvel Cinematic Universe is a mixed bag of incredible highs and crushing disappointments. After years of watching every release, I’ve learned which MCU movies are worth your time. This is my unfiltered take on which Marvel movies deserve a spot on your watchlist and which ones to skip entirely.

Captain America: Brave New World should have been Sam Wilson’s breakout moment. Instead, it plays like a half-hearted remix of better movies. Mackie deserves more than a by-the-numbers story with nothing new to say.

The Fantastic Four: First Steps is a great movie on its own, forming a bridge to the upcoming Doomsday movie. But I feel there were a lot of forced connections in the movie, which was otherwise really entertaining.
