Since OTT has become the default mode of entertainment, far surpassing cable TV or similar bundled TV programming, there has been a gap left when it comes to preset schedules for movies and series.
TV Guide used to be the gold standard for knowing the TV schedule for the longest time, and in India, a couple of newspapers used to publish the TV schedules behind the first page.
Now, since cable TV and even DTH providers offer recycled entertainment through reruns of movies and series periodically, it is best to rely on digital guides, web apps, and streaming guides to decide what to watch.

After going through the best options available online to find content to watch and review, I decided to sidestep decision fatigue by focusing on the latest releases and content that is yet to be released and narrowed down the OTT selection to the ones that are most popular around the world, ranging from HBOMax to Netflix.
Also, I have added new theatrical releases for the US, UK, and India. This web app is also available on Product Hunt for you people to use and review.
You curate a watchlist that you can save what you would like to watch, along with a social sharing feature with which you can share unique movies that you would like to watch and also recommend to fellow OTT philes.

TV Guide was first published on April 3, 1953, making it 73 years old as of April 2026. Making it the oldest TV listings and now streaming listings online. In this list of OTT streaming guides, this is easily the most well-known platform, known right from the Boomer generation to Gen Alpha.
It still maintains its quality standards and is well organized. Although it can still be a little overwhelming at times.

4. Just Watch
One of the first players in this space, Just Watch, is a widely used Widget used to find where you can watch your favorite OTT movie or show, acting like a specialized and niche-down Google for OTT content.
This is great if you already have a favorite OTT platform and just need to know what will be playing in a specified timeframe. For example, a particular series on Apple TV like Your Friends and Neighbors, Prime Video like The Boys, and so on.
But if you are exploring the Just Watch platform to create a watchlist of newly released or upcoming OTT content, the platform might be overwhelming to the point that you don't actually choose anything.
5. Decider
This is one of my go-tos for content that I want to watch for the week or the month. They relay the required information in a simple text and image format, although the focus is not on new releases or even original content, but rather on all the content that will be available on the corresponding OTT service for the period. ( although the original content will be named as such in the text-based listings )
6. Vulture
Similar to Decider in UI and approach, they offer text and image listings of OTT content. Sometimes, what Decider misses, Vulture picks up and provides in terms of TV listings.
Such TV listings may take a lot of time to sift through, but it's fun doing it anyway. But if you're in a hurry, then things get a bit difficult, and finding the right OTT platform, finding which ones are original, and the theme that you like becomes difficult.
